I don't eat as much items here anymore since I'm vegan. I still enjoy stopping here once in a while though.
The lady is a bit standoffish but not mean. It seems like another family operated Chinese place for them to get by - since it seems they don't exactly enjoy being there.
The design could definitely use an update. I know it's not really dirty but it may appear that way to some people with it being outdated. It always, always helps to have a style that'll be more inviting to customers.
You can't argue with the prices and the food is always tasty. Always cooked well. I just wish they actually made my food spicy when I request it. It looks like they add chili flakes but that isn't much.
I won't hurt their rating over that though. Great food at great prices. It's worth stopping by for those occasional nights you want to take a break from cooking or you're on a college student budget. -

Sitting on the toilet as I'm writing this review. OMG so awful! My entire family wanted to try something new we haven't tried before. Parts of our food was cold. Ordered spicy beef with lo Mein. The noodles were slimy. Tasted like boogers. Gross I know right? Never again will I go here or recommend this place. Fuggedaboutit! And I love Chinese food so man... that ruined my day!

Looking for a new Chinese takeout spot, but this was pretty bland. I ordered three different items and all were pretty similar. The food does taste fresh and cooked nice just lacking.

I used to love this place until they changed their flavor or general tso chicken. I don't know why or how but I have not gone back since.

I don't often bother with leaving food reviews but tonight I was so impressed with how delicious everything was I felt I had to say something. It's obvious how much you care about what you serve your customers, and that's exactly why I will be coming back again and again and will be recommending you to everyone I know.
Tonight was the first time I've ever been to the Hong Kong restaurant. I called in the order and was told it would be ready for pickup in 15 min.
The lady who rang up my order was very polite and friendly and I didn't even have to wait. It was ready to go when I walked in the door.
As a first time customer I was given a $2 discount, per the coupon on the menu.
Here's what I received for just under $20:
* (10pc.) Crab Rangoon with sweet & sour
* Sweet & Sour Chicken combination dinner
(includes pork fried rice & egg roll)
* Moo Shu Pork (includes 5 pancakes & white
rice)
I've never tasted a better sweet & sour sauce anywhere. The chicken was perfect! I was thrilled that it wasn't over-cooked.
There was one tiny mistake made, though... There was no soy sauce in the bag for the rice but after I tried a bite I realized I didn't even need it. I guess I've gotten too used to eating bland fried rice at other restaurants.
Last but not least was the Moo Shu pork. It was a perfect combination of stir-fried savory pork and veggies.
The portions are generous so we even have some leftovers which will be great for lunch tomorrow.
I'm a happy lady tonight. It's my birthday and I got just what I wanted - the best Chinese food I've found in Pennsylvania since I moved here 11 years ago. :)
